New ISCRR Report on Work Related InjuryNews
The Institute for Safety, Compensation and Recovery Research (ISCRR) has recently released its report on work-related injury and illness in Australia, 2004-2014.
In Australia, an estimated 532,000 workers experienced a work related injury between 2013-2014. Of these, the most common injury claim type was musculoskeletal, accounting for 59.5% of claims between 2009 and 2014. Musculoskeletal injuries were also the most common type of ‘serious’ injury, resulting in more than two weeks of compensated time loss in return to work.
Lex Medicus Publishing provides a comprehensive suite of musculoskeletal pathologies, providing you with greater medical understanding. This will give you an edge when interacting with clients who may have suffered a musculoskeletal injury and in interpreting medico-legal reports.
To request further information or details of a specific injury type, please contact Cristina Morganti-Kossmann, Director of Lex Medicus Publishing.
